I just put together a new machine and I am trying to install FreeBSD 2.05
on it with not much luck. I have a SuperMicro 133, PCI with an adaptec 2940
and a panasonic scsi cdrom drive. I made the floppy and when I go thru the
kernel boot process I get the message ahc1 not found ....
What could I be doing wrong ? Is the board too fast ?
Any help is appreciated.

Constantine.

PS. I put a dos partition on the hard drive and installed the ez-scsi3.1
and there does NOT seem to be a problem there..
