I have recently installed the NNTP package that shipped with the 2.0.5
release on CD. Everything appears to install OK but whenever I try to
access the news server I get errors saying that the server cannot talk
to you right now. Also when I try to telnet to port 119 it comes back
with a 502 message and says essentially the same thing.

I have configured nntpd to run under inetd.conf, and the nntp entries
are in /etc/services. Any ideas on what could be wrong would be
appreciated.
