And I was logged in as root, so now I have 4 or 5 nice text files in my /dev directory that say "atdt2772000" in them. What now? BTW, I was trying cua01 and cua02...these are the serial devices, right? I already tried "sh MAKEDEV" and nothing happened. Thanks for any help, unless you're going to tell me to reinstall, then no thanks. :) Pete Sheridan
