   Wait 18 months.  Unless the core team throws themselves off a
cliff or gets an offer they can't refuse from microsoft, it will
take about that long to get enough visibility to attract that kind
of publisher.  Of course you'll have been driven screaming into
the mailing lists by then with the flood of posts from people going
"FREEBSD IS K00L!!!" and "I CAN'T GET FREEBSD TO WORK WITH MY <X>,
CAN SOMEONE HELP ME TODAY BECAUSE I'VE GOT A BOOK REPORT DUE
TOMORROW!!!", or you'll have grown a killfile long enough to risk
your disk quota, but you *know* the book is going to be published.
