The number of Linux users is hard to pin down. The last time I had a decent count of CDs sold they were running at about 40,000/month but that is not guaranteed to be accurate and CDs does not equal systems. (For example, our office runs Linux on 20 machines but the install was from one CD. On the other hand, we have bought many CDs over the past two years.) If you are a Linux Journal reader and use *BSD and not Linux let us know. You can e-mail ljeditor@ssc.com and tell us your story. We really are in this business to do what our readers ask for. So far, virtually all letters have come from Linux users. -- Phil Hughes, SSC, Inc. P.O.
