I've tried Bill's driver that came with the source and I've tried the one on agate and neither work. With both I just get garbage printed. It looks very much like it does using a serial line when the parity etc isn't set up properly. If anyone has succeeded then please let me know which driver you're using and what the printer is (I've got access to several) just in case there's a conflict. Incidentally, the driver on agate is very buggy. It causes my machine to reboot whenever the cable in attached to the printer (not particularly usefull). Bill's driver seems a little better though it is not too stable. Is there a working driver out there anywhere. The corruption may be due to dropped characters now that I think about it, since the printers are being put into graphics mode. If this doesn't go smoothly then you can also get symptoms similar to mine. Anyway, the request is the same, does anyone have a driver which I can print my ghostscript output with? -- Paul Richards at Cardiff university, UK. spedpr@uk.ac.cf.thor Internet: spedpr%thor.cf.ac.uk@nsfnet-relay.ac.uk UUCP: spedpr@cf-thor.UUCP or ...!uunet!mcsun!uknet!cf!thor!spedpr +++
