Alternatively, there are : Ethernet based terminal servers (Cyclades, Chase, Digi, etc.) which will : also do the job. These boxes have assignable IP addresses; each RS-232 : port has an associated TCP port number. You don't need special driver : support for these, just have Linux setup for Ethernet networking. : Robert I was wondering which other multiport serial boards are supported by Linux.
