	The S/w for the thing comes with the full sources and the compilation
	shouldn't cause any problems but:

	-- there is some place in source code ( don;t remember now where
	exactly) where they specify the buffer for the encrypted password
	and they limit it so that 15 chars long Md5 based ones will not
	fit in there ... that means that if you run the Md5 based crypt() - 
	it won;t work w/o modification

	- the compiler will complain a few times about multiple
	prototypes ( declaration) for some functions/syscalls - 
	it's easy to fix too..

	- some funny stuff with DES crypto() from _the _FreeBSD - 
	but the chances are( 99.99%) you won't see it
