I managed to port the Linux (I'm an ex-Linux user) syslog() patch over to
FreeBSD.  Using a test program distributed on the Linux security newsgroup,
the patch has been tested and appears to work.  If anyone wants it just e-mail
me at cschuber@uumail.gov.bc.ca, please don't do a reply to this message as
your e-mail will bounce.
