Yes.

Yes, there are two shipped on the CDROM. INN is the better one.

FreeBSD is more user-friendly. NetBSD is ported to a zillion platforms.

No. Linux and FreeBSD are completely different operating systems.

NetBSD: PC clones, Alpha, Amiga, Sparc, ... gazillions.
