Date: Thu, 4 Jan 1996 09:17:19 Organization: Intel Lines: 11 Message-ID: <Karl_Shepard.2.00094A36@ccm.jf.intel.com> NNTP-Posting-Host: kshepar2.jf.intel.com X-Newsreader: Trumpet for Windows [Version 1.0 Rev A] I installled FreeBSD a week and a half ago. I got the Xwindows to work - xdm, etc. It works fine. I elminated the xconsole startup and would like to eliminate the xterm -ls call that appears to be required by xdm (Xwindows) won't start without the an xterm -ls). The xterm -ls duplicates the function of the OLWM menu in that there is an exit on the menu that takes you back to xlogin as does an exit from the xterm -ls window. I have scoured the man pages and have been unable to find a switch that I can use to turn off the xterm -ls requirement. Karl_Shepard@ccm.jf.intel.com
