I'm trying to set up FreeBSD to service dialin users with a Cyclades Cyclom-Ye
16-port board. The system works fine when getty or mgetty is monitoring
serial port 0 (ttyd0), but when I turn them loose on the Cyclades port, the
user end's responses to the login: prompt are not recognized. The mgetty
eventually times out and drops the connection.

The driver documentation claims I must reverse pins 4 and 20. However, doing
this causes mgetty to fail on its initial chat with the modem. Leaving the
wiring as straight thru results in the behavior above.

Does anyone have this setup working? The author of the driver does not answer
email concerning this problem.

Thanks,
Cliff
