I am looking for a decent MIDI player for FreeBSD.

The playmidi program does not do a good job. It does not utilize properly
the OPL3 in my Pro Audio Studio 16 card, and the results with FM synth are
poor. The OPL3 does improper instrumentation with playmidi (though it works
fine under DOS, Win and OS/2).

Thanks.
