Some time ago I posted that fd0 was not seen anymore and I blamed it
on some problem I might have had with various patches not properly installed.

Now I found out that fd0 is only recognized by the autoconfig code when
the floppy drive contains a floppy and the door is closed. I admit, I did
not check it with door closed and no floppy inserted , should I ? :)

Anyway, now I always put a non-bootable floppy into the drive when booting.
Strange, though, isn't it?
