The machine is already running Windows NT Workstation 3.51 with no apparent problems. Running "install.bat" from the CD (in NT's emulated DOS box) results in a "not enough memory" message, when more than 630k is available. Trying to boot from a floppy after copying the the boot image from the CD just puts the machine in a constant rebooting loop -- there's no FreeBsd prompt, just a reboot after the Adaptec bios installs. Apologies if this is an old question, but couldn't locate any wise words on the FreeBsd home page or the newsgroups. wgerrard@mnsinc.com
