Date: 26 Dec 1995 02:58:44 GMT Organization: Apollo Software Lines: 28 Message-ID: <4bnod4$dav@news.nstn.ca> NNTP-Posting-Host: kentville-ts-4.nstn.ca X-Newsreader: WinVN 0.99.7 Hey People! Problems... I have an ATI VGAWonder XL24 video card which appears to work fine with Xfree86. This video card has a bus mouse which I am using. The support for the bus mouse does not work. Any suggestions? Another question to whoever can answer it. Why can't I execute programs the same when I am logged in under root as a user which I made myself? under root I need to type: exec ./prog_name. logged in under my own username I created, I only need to type the name of the executable. This is annoying because I have to login again after the exec is complete. That dumps me back at the home directory! From the grade 1 class of unix. -Mike -- +------------------------------+--------------------------------------- -----+ | Michael Richard : Snail Mail | Internet: miker@fox.nstn.ns.ca | | PO Box 823 Berwick, | 50% owner of Apollo Software, my interests | | Nova Scotia, Canada | include, business, C++, Pascal, Assembly | | B0P 1E0 | Programming, Tae Kwon Do and shooting pool | +------------------------------+--------------------------------------- -----+
