I've been trying to do an FTP installation of FBSD over a PPP connection
to my machine at home. I'm having difficulty, however, opening an FTP
connection. The installer simply complains that it "can't open a
connection to ftp.host.dom" -- not a very detailed complaint.

The only thing that offurs to me that might be the problem is the third
from last field on the PPP setup screen. The field which asks for "The
IP of this connection." I find that title very unclear.. I've tried both
the IP of my machine at home, and the IP of my ISP (the gateway) but
neither has cleared up my FTP problem.

I've never had problems with my SLIP/PPP setups either with Windows or
Linux, so I know the problem must be specific to my setup of this installer.

Any help would be appreciated..
   Matt
