australian freebsd users,
please note: i've take the liberty to space this out as a curtocy (sp?) for
other visually impaired (though not blind, yet) readers.
this is one place to get your freebsd cdroms ..
they also offer a subscription service .. on various walnut creek cd sets
from what i've seen in mu travels the prices are competive, even i can afford a
freebsd cdrom or two at these prices.
on the occassions that i've dealt with them thier service has been prompt and
as ordered. what else can you say ?

please note, i've sent email but not finding anything of personal interet on
www i've never looked, sorry.
my only connection to "zone multimedia" is as a very happy disabled person
customer. they accomodated my requirements and provided a timely and most
curtious service taking the time to listen and asked questions where i was
unclear about my specific requirements. they were also able to offer
alternatives where what i want was not availailable or inappropriate. all in
all a neat bubch of guys 'n girls to deal with. before i forget i got the
freebsd for the low $AUD30's and postage was about $AUD5 this was either thier
old rate or the new one. anyway its the same for either one or two cd's, if
thier is a third it goes up a bit more and cod is avaiable as well ... at extra
cost.
one other thing, i was upfront with the lad on the phone concerning my position
and at the end of the day i didn't feel like i'd been "taken for a ride", after
20 years in the computer trade as a ssystms support manager and business /
systems analyst its very easy to tell the slick sales/con jobs, or so i believe
at any rate. golly its turned into an add. oops .. looks like i'm gonna have to
stop watchiing that little devil spin around so much and that blinding white
light is giving me a splitting headache.
