Since the partition begins below the drea= ded cylinder 1024, BootEasy can boot FreeBSD with no problem. Once FreeBSD is running, the 1024 barrier is no longer an issue. Still, you ought to look into a BIOS upgrade. I ordered mine today--$69.95. It's by far the cleanest and best solution. Good luck on your installation, \\ichelle
