I recommend using FreeBSD 2.1.0-RELEASE ( or later ). The FAST/WIDE drives
will work better on this release.

Also, my personal prejudice would be to get 4 x 2Gig F/W drives rather than
your 2 x 4Gig, but it is more expensive unfortunately...

Out of curiousity, which OEM-ed NCR/Symbios controller are you using?
