You should check to see what the IDE Master/Slave jumper is set at. Our didn't work with the CD-ROM set at Master, instead it had a jumper called "cable select" which we used. After that was set properly it worked like a charm. One problem though, even when I used the ATAPI.FLP image to boot from (which DID recognize the CD-ROM drive) after the install the system would not recognize the CD-ROM drive. Apparently you have to re-compile the kernel for your system with the support for it. Oh well, at least I could use it for the install. :-) -- Timothy Loveridge loveriti@uvsc.edu Internet Specialist UVSC Computer Services CNA <a href="http://www.uvsc.edu/">The UVSC Home Page</a> #include <std_disclaimer.h> ___..---'---`---..___ .-=========================- _______________/ :.::..---..___..---~~~ (___________(_||_)____/ /____/___:..::.:::. / USS Enterprise You're fine, how am I? \_________/ NCC-1701D
