Hi all!

I have just installed FreeBSD 2.1 and found that one minor problem
with syscons:

1. load german keyboard map "german.cp850"
2. start X

Everything works fine, i.e. I can enter umlauts and accents and all that

3. switch to text console

The text console uses cp850 umlauts as the name of the keyboard map suggests,
which I don't like.

4. load german keyboard map "german.iso"

Seemingly umlauts are generated correctly, but are not converted for screen
output (like SCO mapchan, for example)

5. load iso fonts into VGA

Well ... seems to work

6. restart X

*ARGH* The keyboard mapping is hosed

Any suggestions how this could be fixed?

For now I use pcvt instead, which defaults to ISO character set.
