Each software-package is held in a registration-database. If you run W95 to start the W95-backup, this database will be used. Also some DLL's and many setup/config-files, which cant be overwritten, because they are "in use". The End of the Story: After a system-crash - minimal install from CD and recovering the rest from a backup - it doesnt works. No drivers for my soundcard, no drivers for my graphicboard, no menu, no ... Tell me if i'm wrong, but: W95 sucks, isnt it? Lars.
