I have both DOS and BSD on my 486 (80MB DOS and 120MB BSD). Several of the suggested programs/solutions require starting from a CLEAN disk (not fun). However, pboot (from pboot.zip) works VERY well. It does NOT require reinstalling any of your software. The pboot doc is terse. Basically for DOS try the following: install pboot.bin boot.saf The install program (with pboot) copies in a new boot record and copies out you're old (into file boot.saf). Pboot knows about many OS's (including BSD). When you reboot, a brief menu 1.,2.,3.,4. comes up. Your choose which partition (ie.e OS) and off you go. Again, Thanks to all who helped...Mark Mark Ganter/Univ of Washington/Dept of Mech Engr/FU-10/Seattle, WA 98195 USA ganter@u.washington.edu
