Message-ID: <netsDKKCGB.3yM@netcom.com> Summary: How do I install FreeBSD on an IBM Thinkpad 755c Keywords: IBM, Thinkpad, 755c, FreeBSD, Install, Install boot Organization: NETCOM On-line Communication Services (408 261-4700 guest) X-Newsreader: TIN [version 1.2 PL1] Date: Tue, 2 Jan 1996 16:57:47 GMT Lines: 12 Sender: nets@netcom7.netcom.com I got the boot disk and installed FreeBSD over the net on a Gateway. This went fairly smoothly. When I tried using the boot disk on an IBM Thinkpad 755c it booted just fine but the keyboard seemed to be remapped randomly. Unfortunately I had to remove FreeBSD from the Gateway so I can't play around with trying to build a new boot disk. How does one install FreeBSD on an IBM Thinkpad 755c? All pointers to information appreciated. ~Paul
