Could someone explain to me what the ramifications are for running
routed with the '-s' flag? I have a FreeBSD 2.0.5 box running which
periodically connects to the internet via PPP. The machine is also
connect to a LAN and consequently has an ethernet card with an IP
address assigned to it. I want to be absolutely sure that I am not
broadcasting RIP information about the IP addresses assigned to the
NIC in my machine. It is not a register addressed and I know it could
"bung" things up if it were broadcasted. Can someone help me?

Thanks,

Mike Williams
