The file /usr/local/lib/news/sys contains the line: admin:all,!local,!junk/all:f:/var/news/out.going/admin/togo I have a few questions about this! o Where can I find man pages or documentation on the format of this file? I did all sorts of "man -k" searches, but I could not find anything that seemed appropriate. o Does this line mean the following, by any chance? admin: the name of the system that uucp receives connections from all send all news !local but don't send the newsgroup called "local" !junk/all and also don't send any groups in junk or sub-directories f:/var.... send batches (or something) to that file (or directory?) o Last question...I want to start adding LOTS of newsgroups to my active list, but I don't want to add any more newsgroups to admin's feed. Do I have to add a "!" for each newsgroup or newsgroup directory that I don't want to send? Do "!" parameters take precedence, or does the last argument take precendence? Thanks! Doug Lerner, Tokyo
