huh?.. a new ultra is both cheaper and faster than an
equivalent SGI, so I'm not sure where you are coming from.. price/performace
on ultra systems vs SGI is no contest from what I've seen. 
It'd have to be a hefty price break to be a competition..
(not knowing the details on the price break, I'd have to leave it up to
you to perform a comparision)
