I'm trying to install Sun 3/160 to 4.1.1
When attempting to boot off the Dist tape I get a peculiar error:
--- > b st()
--- Boot:st(0,0,0)
--- st: error 96A0
--- >
It is my understanding that to boot off 4.1.1
--- > b st() is all that is required.
Hardware Info:
--- Sun 3/160 with 1 internal tape drive( target 0 ).
--- The Tapes are in Qic 24 format. I can dd the 4.1.1 tapes out to
Disk using "dd if=/dev/rst8 of=/fname".
--- The Drive itself is Qic 11.
Should I be able to boot off these tapes or do I need to find another
solution?
