Since the partition begins below the dreaded cylinder 1024, BootEasy can boot FreeBSD with no problem. Once FreeBSD is running, the 1024 barrier is no longer an issue. Still, you ought to look into a BIOS upgrade. I ordered mine today--$69.95. It's by far the cleanest and best solution. Good luck on your installation, \\ichelle
