computer.  8-).

Sorry, you're talking about the survival of the UNIX community
as a whole at the cost of some of its members.

The threatened members (understandably) prefer even a little
more survival for themselves over the long term survival of
the community.

You apparently believe everyone's read Demming.  8-).
