hello all:

I am running v2.1 and have not been able to get the ethernet up and

running. The card SMC Ultra seems to configure properly but when the

system boots up I get the following message:
Jan 9 16:16:39 bill /kernel: ed0: invalid packet length 9984.
Jan 9 16:16:39 bill /kernel: ed0: invalid packet length 9984.
Jan 9 16:16:39 bill /kernel: ed0: invalid packet length 50111.

etc.etc.etc.

I am able to ping the adapter but I cannot ping any other machine on the

network.

Has anyone solved this problem before ?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
