It has an SMC 9000 series (91C92) ethernet controller which I have been so far unsuccessful in using from FreeBSD. I have some information about the 91C92 chip - though not enough to write a device driver (as if I could). Has anyone else out there been trying this? I am hoping that it will turn out that some well known and supported SMC or other card uses this chip and I just have to tinker with the kernel a bit. Unfortunately I am not familiar with all of the supported adapter cards for FreeBSD and the chip sets they use so I don't know what driver to start with. Any ideas? Thanks, --- Gardner Buchanan SHL Systemhouse Inc. Ottawa Branch (613) 236-9734
