Call me a maniac, but I like OpenLook. It is slightly less configurable than twm, but the default behavior in almost every case is exactly what you want (or at least in my case). My window manager of choice is olvwm, the virtual version of the standard olwm window manager. Virtual means that you have a larger virtual desktop upon which your X "desktop" is merely a small window. Simple keyboard shortcuts or mouse commands take you from one area to another. I like to keep Netscape on its own virtual screen so it can have all the real estate it needs to run and keep my xterms elsewhere. Look for the three xview packages (config, clients and lib) and olvwm, if you want a virtual window manager (olvwm adds other nice stuff too). -- Nick Sayer <nsayer@quack.kfu.com> | "A man works hard for his filth N6QQQ @ N0ARY.#NORCAL.CA.USA.NOAM | just to have vagrants come and +1 408 249 9630, log in as 'guest' | steal it.
