I think the handling of ~/.fvwmrc has been changed some day, and it's
now filtered through m4 before being evaluated.  Due to this, some
special kludge is needed.  I forgot what it was exactly (it's on my
machine at work, while i'm running an ancient fvwm here at home), but
you can find it in the `official' /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fvwm/system.fvwmrc.
It was something with includes.
