Two annoying problems:

1.) X windows (XF86_S3) core dumps sometimes whenever I try
to switch to a ttyv? . I run xdm on startup on ttyv7, and run
virtual terminals on ttyv0 - ttyv6. Sometimes, maybe 30%,
when I switch to ttyv0, X will core dump. Anyone have any
idea why?

2.) uname() fails for some reason. Altough not a serious
problem, I am still curious why. It is the system call
uname(), not the environment variable (I have it set).

I run freeBSD 2.0.5

Thanks,
Ryan
