i see no problems with your hardware - but to use the IDE/ATAPI cdrom
you have to use 2.1.0-RELEASE - and maybe play a bit with different
master/slave primary/secondary ide controller configs - i got the
IDE/ATAPI cdrom's on two machines runninmg as slave on the first
controller (but on one nit as master and only one on the second)

p.s.: use the atapi.flp of 2.1.0 to install from IDE/ATAPI cdrom
