It's only being used as a >Web Server! The Pentium will run circles around the Sparc. I've used both, and the fastest single-processor Sparc-20 available can't touch the P133 in any respect except in floating point, and the P133 is either slightly ahead or behind. However, one question to ask. Does your P133 have the Triton chipset? If so, the performance won't be that great when you use the upper 64MB since the Triton doesn't cache memory above 64MB. Older chipsets don't have this problem, and the Triton-II chipset is supposed to fix this. Nate ps. It seemed fast enough to me. -- nate@sneezy.sri.com | Research Engineer, SRI Intl. - Montana Operations nate@trout.sri.MT.net | Loving life in God's country, the great state of work #: (406) 449-7662 | Montana. home #: (406) 443-7063 | A fly pole and a 4x4 Chevy truck = Heaven on Earth
