The booting sequence is always freezed with the following mes sage. "rootfs is 1000 Kbyte compile in MFS" It looks like that there is nothing wrong, but system have been stopped for ever and never comes up to install menu. My system specification is as follows: CPU : Pentium 90 MHz M/B : GIGA BYTE GA-586AS chipset: SiS 85C501, 85C502, 85C503 BIOS : AWARD Plag and Play BIOS Extension V1.0A cache : 256 KB SCSI: NCR 83C810 PCI HDD : QUANTUM LIGHTNING 540S on sd0 QUANTUM EMPIRE_1080S on sd1 This system is currently running under FBSD 2.0-R and it doesn't have any troubles. Does any one know the reason why, and how to install 2.1-R ? Thanks in advance, Sadamoto Itoh
