It won't appear in the 'list of supported platforms' until it's a supported platform, though. In fact, I've heard of work in progress for NetBSD, FreeBSD and OpenBSD. I think that most of the work is going toward the Motorola machines (for various reasons), but much of the code should be reusable on other systems.
