I installed NetBSD on an Intel system, on the 3rd harddisk. Now the problem is that the BIOS doesn't support more than 2 HD's. My question: how can I put the kernel on the first MSDOS (IDE) Harddisk and boot from it. The second harddisk is a SCSI harddisk with Linux on it. The third would the be the second SCSI HD with NetBSD on it. Or could I boot NetBSD with LILO ? Man, that's a long line! If you are using vi, create a file called ".exrc" in your home directory, with the line ":set wrapmargin=5". Get a program called OS-BS. It will allow you to select between the OSes. Install it on the IDE drive. I think it works with SCSI, too. If it really is a BIOS problem, just get a new BIOS! I have OSBS, I dunno if it's the latest. You can get it at ftp://hillres142.cc.purdue.edu/users/willey/osbsbeta.exe It's a DOS program. While you are there, pick up the FAQ for BSD that I have. It *will* come in handy. Mark
