I am using one with my 1522 controller and it works great. Unfortunately, it doesn't work with the 1542. I am fairly certain it is because the 55J wants an NEC controller and the 1542 is just too much controller for it. -- Dave Burgess (The man of a thousand E-Mail addresses) 386bsd FAQ Maintainer / SysAdmin for the NetBSD system in my spare bedroom "Just because something is stupid doesn't mean that there isn't someone that wants to do it...."
