I've install'd a remote printer on my Freebsd 2.1R . The only problem is
the 'staircase effect' like described in the handbook. I modify
the 'printcap' and create an 'hpif' file but always the staircase.
I've tried the hpif with: hpif <file to print |lp, and that command
works well. It seems that the filter is not used by printcap.
Has anybody an idea , is this a problem of remote printer?
			Thanks for help.
