I saw that identd was available as a package for the 2.0.5 release, but I
don't see it anywhere in the 2.1 package list. It does have an entry in
inetd.conf, but the daemon isn't there (supposedly in /usr/local/sbin).

Can I try installing the 2.0.5 identd package?
