Well, first off I thought I'd say thanks to the k-rad FreeBSD team
for putting out a great Unix. :) Thanks! I've been running FreeBSD
for about a year and a half now, switched over from Linux which I'd
ran since like.. .98 or some junk..

Here's my dilemma, at my school we're setting up Internet access
in this lab running Netware3 on a 10baseT Ethernet. I will be
installing TCP/IP on about 5 machines. We acquired a 386/25 with
12 megs of RAM and a 33.6k Sportster. I'm going to install an
NE2k 16-bit board in it and put it on Ethernet.

Does FreeBSD have a feature similiar/congruent to Linux's IP
masquerading? Where I can set the Eternet card IP to 10.0.0.1,
set the machines to 10.0.0.2/6 and their gateways to 10.0.0.1,
hit some Internet packets and it'll look like on the outside
it's coming from the FreeBSD box's PPP link.. ?

If not, then I will need to run a routing daemon (routed/gated)
or throw in some static routes for the real IPs on the Portmaster's
side.. Correct?

If I didn't mention before, the machine will be running pppd
as the primary net interface.. :)

I'd appreciate any advice, mail on trials/ideas/etc..

TIA! :)
