Dearest Netters,

It appears to me that FreeBSD 2.1 generates postscript files in version
3.0 format. The little header at the beginning of the postscript file
leads me to believe this.

Example:
%!PS-Adobe-3.0
%%Creator: A2ps version 4.3
%%CreationDate: Fri Jan 12 01:51:47 1996
%%Pages: (atend)
%%DocumentFonts: Courier Courier-Bold Helvetica Helvetica-Bold
%%EndComments

My Lexmark Optra R+ printer emulates PostScript level 2. Is there a
way to generate this or am i SOL.

Many Thanks
