A FreeBSD 2.1 box that I run periodically looses it's default route.  
Obviously, most network traffic stops, until I add the default route 
back.

I'm beginning to think that I might just remove routed, as I have little 
need for RIP packets, as far as I know.

Am I heading in the wrong direction, or do many people have to do this.
