Add this figure as the su# capability into the disktab : entry, i think you will also have to invent figures for ns#, nt#, and : nc# (though they are largely irrelevant if su# is present), make your : `c' partition start at offset 0 and exactly the same length. This : should get you up&flying to use disklabel -e for the rest. This still doesn't work. No matter whether I create the disklabel by hand (disklabel -e) or if I try to partition/label with the sysinstall utility I get: newfs /dev/rsd2a newfs: /dev/rsd2a: 'a' parition is not available I am really starting to get discouraged.... :( One thing to note: On bootup, FreeBSD claims it sees 3999 cyls, 20 heads, 104 sectors/track (avg). The disk's documentation claims 4016 heads. Using either value doesn't work. Sigh...Is ANYONE using one of these beasts?
