I thought the long-standing EOF detection bug in the floppy : driver would make dump `think' a fatal error happened. : Anyway, it's always possible to force dump into any other media size: : dump 0uBf 1440 /dev/rfd0.1440 /filesystem I guess I should try this again. I only ever did it once (it got pretty boring changing floppies) and it was a while ago. Has anybody else had success or have they also had to use the length parameter? /mark -- +-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-+ | Mark Hannon,| FreeBSD - Free Unix for your PC| mark@seeware.DIALix.oz.au| | Melbourne, | PGP key available by fingering | epamha@epa.ericsson.se | | Australia | seeware@melbourne.DIALix.oz.au | |
