Sorry to cross-post to the pdp11 people, but I thought there was a
slight chance that pdp11 owners with TK50 tape drives may be able to
help me on this one.

As previously reported, I'm trying to set up a couple of MicroVAX
II's. After a problem with my TK50 drive, which destroyed the leader
strip of my bootable VMS installation tape, I'm a little stuck. There
are two options for me, I think. One is to borrow a set of VMS
installation tapes on TK50, the other is to go for NetBSD, which I
understand is available for the VAX (no flames from the comp.os.vms
people please ;)

Basically I'd be very grateful if anyone with VMS (any version) on
TK50 could help me out. Similarly, whilst I can presumably get NetBSD
off the net, I can't get it on to a TK50 without having a running
operating system! Thus NetBSD on TK50s would also be extremely useful
...

Cheers,

Bob.
